We are thrilled to announce Barossa Cider Co’s Squashed Cloudy Cider was awarded ‘Best in Show’, ‘Best Australian Cider or Perry’ and ‘Best Specialty Cider or Perry’ in the New World Medium Sweet Class at the 2021 Australian Cider awards, held last night, February 2nd 2022. Hosted by Cider Australia, the show is in its tenth year, and celebrates excellence in the Australian cider category that is rapidly growing.

Barossa Cider Co was established in the Barossa Valley in 2014, after an idea around the dinner table that lead to Oscar and Hugo Bowen travelling around Europe and the UK to conduct some market research into the category. It was there where they decided on a production style inspired by best in class cider making techniques combined with family wine-making experience.
