WELCOMING MONTALTO VINEYARD
We're excited to announce the arrival of Montalto Vineyard to our national portfolio. Withover 220 Gold Medals, 75 Trophies and coming in at #49 in the Halliday Wine Companion Top 100 Australian Wineries of 2023, their award-winning winemaking team, led by Simon Black, have developed wines for three labels from the cool-climate and coastal vineyards of the Mornington Peninsula.

Owned by the Mitchell family since 1997, Montalto is where seasonal, heirloom produce is grown, shared and celebrated. At Montalto, Simon Black & his team create wines of exemplary quality and character. Utilising winemaking techniques that complement the unique qualities derived from only the very best parcels of fruit taken from our five vineyards, in a style that reflects each vineyard site. Perfect to drink now, or to cellar, Montalto wines are to savour.

Approaching his 12th vintage as Montalto winemaker, Simon Black has tremendous grounding and recognition for the vineyards that provide the life-blood to the Montalto winery, together with a meticulous understanding of how to vinify and capture the potential of each site.
