Love and friendship nurtured this plot into a home and a small vineyard. The wines produced are in small quantities, express the soils they are grown in and are styles we love to drink. Why the name Silent Way? One of our favourite albums; In a Silent way was recorded by Miles Davis in February 1969. It is regarded as a masterpiece and one of the most inventive recordings of all time.Silent way Website
White stone fruit aromas, ripe citrus and lovely bright acidity, textured and full bodied.
The wine shows excellent bright red colour and a positive deep hue. Typical Quarry Ridge aromatics- red fruits, some cherry and plum- a hint of central Victorian spice and earthy complexity.
Floral and citrus aromas, some mandarin and grapefuit. A rich ripe palate is bursting with citrus and floral flavours, long fine and delicious. Beautiful drinking now and into the next 5 years.
