Deep red with purple hue. Brooding dark fruit, wild berries, autumnal, brambles, forest floor, nutmeg, cinnamon. Dried herb, touch of black pepper, graphite, chewy texture balanced by long, very fine grain slightly dusty tannin.
Straw yellow in colour. Fragrant orange blossom and apricot and nashi pear. Juicy and rounded mouthfeel with ripe apple and pears and a touch of spice. Off dry with clean fresh acidity.
A soft hint of yellow with green hues. Fragrant Granny Smith apple and lemon zest. Full bodied with lovely texture and fruit sweetness. A refined, linear balanced acidity lends focus and tang to the finish.

Delicate floral notes of white blossom with subtle green apple, pear and citrus peel. A touch of chamomile and a mineral character. Crisp and refreshing acidity provides a lively mouthfeel.
Ripe grapefruit and lemongrass with underlying notes of nectarine and passionfruit. Mouth-watering intensity with juicy tropical notes that are well balanced with lime zest.
Ant moved to New Zealand in 2002 and have since undertaken every adventure required to make wine. He has developed a number of bare blocks into vineyards, bought a winery and built it up, created a number of successful wine brands. With the benefit of hard-earned experience, we now have his signature wine “ant moore”.
Ant is hands on with every aspect of the production, from managing my vines, harvesting the fruit, to processing the wine. He isn't afraid to try new and different approaches and to push the boundaries.
Using a combination of old world techniques and modern winemaking practices, Ant has crafted a range of wines that he loves to drink myself. They tend to be characterized by dryness and purity. They are all about balance and character – values we live by on the vineyard and in our personal lives.
Ant Moore wines are born in the beautiful valleys of Marlborough in New Zealand’s South Island. The Awatere, Waihopai and Wairau Valley soil and stone create unique vines that are distinctive to the Marlborough region. With clear skies and warm weather, the vines are quick to ripen and produce very fruit-driven wines. With these perfect conditions, Ant and his team are meticulously crafting a mix of science and art. Since 2006, Ant has been developing bare land into vineyards, producing a number of successful small-batch wine brands from his winery. His down to earth and committed approach means Ant’s hands touch every part of every wine’s creation.
